Bass and Synth Thing #3

Yet more practice on the bass and synth to simple drum kick patterns. Recorded some basic bassline to some kick pattern to some sampled drums, then some other 'ostinato' bass riffs, then some chiptunes sounding bit-crush and snyths. I was kind of inspired by the band 'Horse The Band', a hardcore band with chiptunes synth. I didn't have a lot of time but it was kinda fun. I'm sure I'll listen bak later and see so many faults, but for now I kinda like it.

* Drum samples from Splice
* American P-Bass recorded through Scarlet 4i4
* Transit, Valhalla plugins, Ableton Redux
* Gullfoss and Ozone Elements 10 for mastering

Total Time: ~3.5 hours

More great bass licks and a great synth lead/chorus—the bitcrushed opener clearing into the main riff feels like we're entering a mid-90s Jaleco arcade machine.  The transition at ~1:15 is excellent!

Thanks! I've been really digging bit-crushing the drums, and it's a whole sorta arcade chip-tunes vibe with it.

Very effective
