I don't know where this came from. It just hit me out of nowhere. I had the melody idea and then bam like an hour later I was locked in and had written this on the Monomachine. It felt good to just smash something out from nowhere. I definitely should have been doing other more productive things today, but this felt really good.
It's been a good week! It's a long weekend this weekend and I'm going camping. I got an overdue haircut. I had a lovely dinner catch up with a friend I hadn't seen in years, and it was truly lovely beyond words. I'm noticing so many positive interactions with people recently, with strangers, people in restaurants, cafes, at stores. Things are looking up and it's nice to see that positivity reflecting back.
