Serenade

Made it to week 4! Still a little sick but feeling better overall. I fell asleep a few times working on this. A little doleful, a little sanguine. I Tried something just a little different with the drums. Thank you for stopping by and giving my song a spin!

the minimal nature and negative space work super nice in this context, with the string font coming in super sparsely and the bits of apache thrown into the drum mix . fun stuff

Oh man, so nice. I need more breakbeat lullabies.

It's like high-energy ambient, which is a genre I can totally get behind. Great pastoral soundscapes with just enough breaks to...I dunno keep you awake as you work on it? wink

I like the contrast between hard dnb beats and smooth ambiance behind.

i don't know what genre this is but im a fan. it feels weird to call it chill with all the frenetic drumming but its very calming

Very cool.  I'm always partial to some drum and bass vibes with ambience.
Sounds good to me!
