Week 3 babyy
Another fully M8 track with drum samples and mostly all M8 synthesis

the original idea came to me quite early on (which i later realized wasn't all that original) but then it was hard for me to really put it together. I really struggled with the arrangement to make it interesting and continuously evolving without being too boring.

Def the most effort in put into a WB track yet. feels good to actually sit down and really work hard at it. it's been a long time since i had enough drive to do that. usually i'll abandon projects at the least inconvenience.

anyways, here it is. It's not perfect but it's okay. It's also somewhat of a spiritual ripoff of another track, bonus points if you can guess it right! ( hope you don't )

Love this, great pacing as usual. Is that macrosyn for the lead?

housey.................

So deep! very chill groove heart

You're killin' it, dude! Love it

Banger track, 11/10, I tried a house track last week and my arrangement was nowhere near as good. Great job!

thank you! no it's actually the wavsynth on a wavetable oscillator, forgot which one, with some modulation iirc.

haha dude thank you! you're too humble. your tracks are fire. i could never

Ooh, yeah when the high string finally comes in (spoilers), restrained euphoria.

made my morning better. was grooving to this going over emails. great work

Groovy, seemed to put me into focus mode

Viiibes. Great transitions and changes. 5 mins just flew by, that could have been 20 easy and I'd still want more.

Very groovy, I love the use of the bell tree/sliegh-bell metallic shaker sound.

nice one! couldn't even notice it went by!!! pretty good, not my genre so can't really comment on it but sounds good to me

thank you so much! transitions are usually the thing that takes me the most time to work out properly. i'm always terrified of making something too repetitive and boring. I'm glad you liked it.

thank you so much! honoured that it pleased you even if not your genre, that's big praise! appreciate it heart

Your hard work paid off, great song.

This is sick! +1 from for the transitions being really well placed; I love the ebb and flow of the energy throughout this. The bassline on this has such a good vibe

This is amazing. Been listening on repeat.

Everything is really well placed, progression is nice, very groovy.
Nice work! Also, sometimes things getting slightly boring/stale is the right moment to change something.
If you can get people to think "okay, this is starting to sound bo... oooooh new sound" can make them even happier.
Doesnt always work, but when it does, oooh so good.

Great track!

This one is quite airy and bouncy!

Those chords and the transition to the bass was just so good to kick this off. Fantastic production work here, too. I loved what you were doing with the cutoffs throughout. This has a killer groove to it, too. Loved that delay work you did there in the early 2 minute mark and how it shows up every once in a while afterward. I was head bopping through the whole track!
