week1

I thought a while about taking part in this years beat battles... I know there will come weeks where i feel kinda empty...
But on the other hand it's always fun to be here listening to your music and talk a bit smile

I've got a glockenspiel latetly... trying to play that thing is what i did most in december. So this one starts with a little melody i came up with. I wanted to make a track with that melody but that didn't worked that good. Here is the result...

Have a good week!

smokey and spooky drums yikes the glock is a nice touch!

Welcome back!  This is my 4th time doing this and every time I feel hesitation before starting, but I feel like at the end of the year I'm always glad I did it.  There's definitely some empty weeks, but I think prioritizing creativity overall leads to good things.  Plus I always enjoy hearing what you and others have cooked up.  I like the usage of the glockenspiel.  Hope you can incorporate it into some more tracks this year!

I dig all the melodic stuff going on in here.

Nice, sounds pretty ominous. Agreed, the glock sounds really clean and icy.

The beat and bass are deadly serious, while the glock adds a (possibly malicious) whimsy.  Creepy and dreamlike!

nice !

YO this is a nice winter holiday beat

great to see you again!

OW DUDE!!!
Again a big tune! Great great stuff!!!
It is both ominous and frivolous. That's quite an achievement! When you said glockenspiel I was slightly worried, but I must say that now I am fully on board!

Nice nice. I'm bobbing along. Glad you're back, I like hearing your beats every week! Glockenspiel was my first instrument in 5th grade, they make you start on that if you want to learn drums, so special place in my heart for that ... more glock!

I definitely missed your beats in 2018!  The tambo mixed with the tight beat and glock is a head nodder.  Good to have ya back!

Nice, suave, beautiful.

this is super great sunshine & rainbows!!!

Dr.theGuen on the Glockenspiel. Genial. Weiter so.

Oh man, I dig the vibe here. Makes me want to dig my glockenspiel out of the closet too haha.

So glad to hear you back at weeklybeats, missed your productions when you left weeklybeats last time.  Great beat and like how you incorporated the glockenspiel, as in the past you have a great talent for finding vocal samples.
