This one is made from various pieces i have recorded during my holidays... I had the chords in mind for some time and just played on every instrument i've found while traveling... I wanted to finish this for last week... but didn't made it in time.
You hear
Harmonica
Epiano
Ukulele
Melodica
At home i added
Mandoline
Ebass
Drums and synth, both VST.
I like the dialog between the ukulele and the mandolin most...
What do you think is the uke played to sloppy?

Hope you enjoy...

Have a great week!

If you say those instruments are all in there, I believe you. I can't really tell, because of the effects, but it's a nice result one way or the other.

Thanks man! I know some instruments are hard to identify. That's why i wrote up the source of those sounds. You know that you are kind of responsible for the chords... Used some augmented, thanks for that! Now that i've tried i am even more impressed by your melodica... I can get only note on and note off from that... If i try to soften my breath mostly no tone comes out any more... Some chords are in the first melody part i added some chorus and distortion... Sounds maybe more like an organ now, but hey i don't have an organ wink

Good to see those augs are finding a good home.
Melodicas make for great organs in a pinch, but so do harmonicas, so if you mess with the timbre too much they can sound very similar.
The trick to playing the melodica is that you can't play it softly, you can play it loud, or you can play it louder.

A new definition of traveling music. Sweet.

Very warm and organic. The inclusion of different instruments are very well integrated and not forced. That aside, really good laid back grove all tied together with the bass.  I like that growling synth sound halfway through. The different acoustic instruments create a very exotic feel.

The bass gives the whole thing a nice groove and the other textures do add some mystery and give the impression of traveling through far distant locales.

Very cool...quite foreboding.  I really liked the chord progression and instrumentation

this really does give me a "travel" vibe. i like how all the sounds add a lot of flavor to it, but fit together nicely. nothing sounds sloppy to me, and your bass grooves lately have been really awesome. nice work!

indeed an uncommon intrumentation for hiphop, but it fits perfectly into your style. well done.

Cool Thank you! Laid back sounds much better than sloppy big_smile I wondered if i have too much different instruments... but the chorus make them work together...

Thanks man! I traveled in 300km radius... So the places were not far away smile But i think karl may never left his country at all... big_smile

Excellent groove especially with those piano chords backing the boom bappin beat.  Well done!

DANG!  enough instruments for ya?!?!?!?!??!

The new genre of "world-hop" - hip-hop that takes you on a trip around the globe with different sounds and instruments.

Nice!

Dope. Exotic boom bap. Dig all the sounds and really like those drums! Uke is sweet, not too sloppy.

Haha thanks alot! i guess i had the strange foreboding that holidays won't last forever... These augmented chords are cool they have some extra dramatic feel...

F yes. The mix is well done. I am a fan of having all of those instruments but them not all being apparent in where they are.

Thanks a lot man... I focused more on the bass for the last three tracks, and seems that ebass works better for me. Cool that you noticed! big_smile

Thanks man! yeah think thats enough instuments. In some way it's more easy to bring variety with different instruments than with different parts on the same instrument wink

I love this style you have had this year with the hip hop beats and live instruments, in your hands it works very well, also really cool that you could incorporate all these things from your holiday

this is fun altogether!   so many nice textures!
