Another MPC1000 experiment, featuring sounds from the Korg MicroX.
This time the major improvement was:
a) recording all parts layer by layer straight onto the MPC
b) figured out a nice way to send all MIDI to Live and then route it back through the MPC without messing with cables
c) figured out a neat way to mix all the things in Live

Yes, I basically start each track on the MPC which is hooked up to the MicroX, then I noodle and record some stuff and at some point I bounce all the MIDI into Ableton Live and finish the track in there. For example the intro part with the vibes in this track I arranged in Live later on, it's not something recorded on the MPC.
