Hello everyone, I hope you had a nice gap year.

This time around I am going to try to spend the year learning the MPC 1000 and other hardware I have laying around, and not do so much stuff using the computer. This is the plan at least.

Nice! Enjoyed the listen all the way through. Obvious skills.

Excellent downtempo!  I like the touch of sadness.  Probably my favorite from WB24 so far out of like 50 or 60 tracks.

...WB24W1 to clarify for future views...

Rainy day tunes. I love the simplicity of the drums throughout.

beautiful composition, very confident, congrats on a strong week 1

Really like how you layer the synths and how the bass/drums come in @:26. The odd loop phrasing is nice, keeps things "elliptical" for lack of a better word. I could see myself listening to this on repeat for a long time

Smooooth like buttah. Great work here.

I like this, very relaxing.

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed the listen. Making those "elliptical" or odd time signatures is kind of challenging on the MPC, because it really does not have a concept of setting up two loops with a different length and then letting them play alongside each other. Well, maybe the JJOS thing does have something like that, but I am just scratching the surface here, each week a little more.
