Hello everyone!
For this year I have an idea to do a special kind of weeklybeats project. The vision is to make the 52 tracks over the course of the year, in a way that each track is 16 4/4 bars at 120bpm, totaling 2:08 in length (excluding reverb/effects tails). Moreover, each subsequent track should be able to fade in at halfway through the previous one (roughly at 1:04).
At the successful end of the year I hope to have: 1) a continuously changing mixtape track composed of all the 52 individual weekly tracks totaling 56:32, 2) an "album" of short tracks clocking in at 110:56 (hey, that's almost 111 minutes!), all in one big Live project.
I decided to take a shot at this, because I wanted to force myself to make shorter tracks with better mixing, and also to combat the massive increase of project files due to "weekly" music stuff.
Let's see how it goes!
