An 80 BPM beat in E minor that feels like it booted up from a dusty console but somehow hits like a subwoofer in a basement club. The low end is thick, heavy, bass line that just lumbers forward, no rush. It’s super repetitive in a comforting way, so once you lock in, flowing over it feels automatic, like muscle memory kicking in during a late-night gaming session.

The drums are simple but stubborn: chunky kicks, a snare that snaps, and little percussive clicks that feel like UI sounds from a game that never got released. There’s a subtle dub vibe baked in, echoes that trail off into the background, and space that lets the bass breathe and flex.

Overall, it’s the kind of beat that feels low key cheesy but still can vibe to it. Minimal, loop-heavy, and just weird enough to keep your brain engaged while your head nods on autopilot. Like an analog wombat gliding seamlessly through the atmosphere.

This needs vocals....
Nice simple structure.
Love those chords when they come in
I never use a clap only as the snare but I should

Thanks brother.
I layered a snare under the clap but the clap is louder. Theres a tad bit if a snare in there somewhere deep in the back. Gives it the little snap it has.
Vamos!

Bit of a reggae lope to it. I love the lead and the light percussion. I do enjoy a clappy snare, and I created a couple snare patches along those lines because it really brightens things up. Why CAN'T snares be fun?

Thank you, MRDRCAT. Yes, I agree. Keep it fun. Its not that serious. smile

Vibez!!

Another really great bop! I see you've got a strong style. I love the stripped back simplicity of it. Would definitely work well in a club.👌
