Super Mars

It is probably a very bad idea, but ever since the M8 gained the multiband OTT, I was interested in going over the top with the bass. The limiter is blinkink at me that it cannot take it anymore, the wave previews are just full height cross hatchings and my daughter wonders why I walk around the flat with heaphones nodding my head like a mad man.

This is a track I started a week or two earlier, but wanted to polish it a bit. Not sure if I improved the riser section. I wanted to also go wide as well as amplify and it needed to go down in the dry signal so you can actually hear anything else. I don't think I nailed it quite. I might revert to what I had (you can check it out on sirtywave's discord clip channel).

Anyway I do like the main theme of this and hope to get something out of this eventually.

Exact same experience with OTT
Squash everything!!!!
Amazing how useful it is

Damn fancy footwork those drums hit me like a train out of nowhere! Vyborne!!!

Nice! There's something very interesting about this mix. It feels aggressive and subdued at the same time.
The drums are epic!

Aww. too kind.

I need to OTT some stuff, this got TEETH. Love the highpassed synths and that bass is pure velvet.

I really like the way the highpass plink sits on top of the rest of the squashed mix, superb effect there.
