Where I Left You

I think this might be only the 3rd or 4th time where i've used my main instrument, the upright bass, in Weekly Beats. At first I was actively avoiding it, wanting to explore new sounds, and use instruments I was less familiar with. Then as I tried to use it i realized it's just really difficult to record and work into the kind of music i've been working on lately. You should be able to hear it pretty clearly in this piece. It sounds like a sawtooth synth.

Nice use of the bass: prominent but not overpowering. Works as a great foundation.

And nicely played as well.

Sounds like a double bass. tongue
Great track. Really nicely recorded bass too.
