The first techno tune i've done in a while. I felt like i needed a little break from the drumless tracks and i've been listening to a little Four Tet, who makes that kind of music sound amazing. I don't do dance tracks like this often so any tips would be great.

This is a seriously awesome track, but I'm not sure it works as a dance track. Sounds like Zappa satirising dance or something. Which is (to my taste) a good thing. Well done.
good point, vinpous. it is a nice blend of idm and edm, if using very general genre tags. also has experimental/modern classical flourishes. well done.
In hindsight i'm not sure why I said dance. But, I do hear people throwing it around to include anything that happens on top of a 4/4 bass drum. I'm glad you guys like it though.It's funny too, people have said my music sounds like Zappa before, my jazz compositions, but I've never really listened to him. That's a funny thing, i'm sure everyone has run into people hearing stuff in the music that you might never have noticed.
Some intriguing rhythmic stuff going on here, I enjoyed this a lot, not sure if I would dance to it though!
