all of the above

i had a good amount of fun with this month's theme. as a guitar main, i've never really used synth as the centerpiece in my music, so it was fun to explore that a bit (and not a single guitar all month long!). i liked some of the tracks better than others.
week 9 i spent way too much time on, and now the mix feels wonky to me.
week 10 felt like a bit of a sonic breakthrough.
week 11 i absolutely hated on export, but it's come to be one of my favorites i've done so far.
week 12 i'm still not happy with, but you can't win 'em all. i can always rework it in the future.
this week, i spent about as much time as last week (3 hours on sunday) and ended up much happier with the result. perhaps bc i decided to have fun with it and not take it too seriously.
i have about 8 unfinished ideas from this month as well, some of which i'm stoked to go back and finish up.

for april i'm planning to dive into plunderphonics.  sampling is another thing i have limited experience with and i had a good time with making and sound collaging my own samples back in january. we'll see how it goes.
i'm terrible about responding to comments, but i really do appreciate everyone who stops by. y'all keep me going.

until next week

This is such a well written song. The foundation is awesome - that bassline had me bopping from the get-go and looking forward to what was to come. Melody plays with the bass perfectly, plus all the accents to fill. Well done!

haaa i love this track! it's kind of like an update to "C is the Heavenly Option" with some space stuff thrown in. your vocals and production are awesome

What funky little guys.
