This track started by putting the Algoritm synth in Reason through a BBD delay and just hitting record and improvising. That's how the intro guitary line came to be. Then I found the clanky drum loop, and chopped up the recording a bit to fit.

I didn't really have an idea of where the song was going while writing, so I just kind of followed where it lead me. Halfway through, the word "wildfire" popped into my head and that kind of lead me to the feel for how the track is built out. I can imagine myself sitting in a silent room, watching through a window the flames of a wildfire blazing away, while all I can do is imagine the sound as trees crackle and shatter into oblivion.

Late to the party, I only found out about weekly beats a few weeks ago and finally had some time this weekend to sit down and make something. Nice to get out of just making loops, and fleshing an idea out into a full song.
