I started this one by chopping up an old loop of mine with some synthy chords. The beat evolved a lot along the way, but I got stuck in loop land and couldn't work out how to get the song to build out of it. And I struggled with how to get the melody I heard in the chords to be carried by other instruments in the mix without it all getting muddled. If I had more time I would have liked to expand the song out so the first melodic idea comes back and to have the energy build throughout the song, but I guess that's a goal for next weeks beat. I still had a lot of fun making this one!
