Aperture No. 1, in A minor

A slow, lyrical piece.

Written after finishing a bottle of red wine the night before.

Wonderful chord progression - very contemplative.

Very beautiful, had me entranced. That looks like a wonderfully comfy spot to write your music from too. I wish I had the kind of piano comprehension to crank out a moving piece like this after some wine.

Lovely song! There was a feeling of sadness but it sounds to span many different emotions. A story told in music!

That must've been one hell of a wine.

Lovely... and what wine was it?

That was definitely a bottle of pinot noir. Shiraz is too bombastic, cabernet sauvignon is too... cabernet sauvignon. merlot is a bit rough around the edges. Definitely pinot noir.

Lovely piece!

nice harmonies, those chord voicings sound huge

I have a "best of Sylcmyk" list on my phone that I play when I'm home doing my chores.

Songs like this one make my life a little better, one note at a time smile
