Lacking motivation at the moment... but holding on... barely.

Hey! You did it! You uploaded it. I really struggle maintaining the drive and energy too, but you can do it. You did it right here and its beautiful and atmospheric and lovely. Keep working at it, but at your own pace. It is ok to take breaks when you need them.

understandable, for sure.
thank you for this peaceful track though. a good reminder for me to take a deep breath this afternoon heart

This is very nice! I'm glad you didn't skip! I hope you are too!

That trill pitched down is quite evocative and its rhythm works well in the composition. I wonder how tricky it is to compose for a different timescale. These experiments of yours are def growing into something beautiful, they are already a nice body of work. Wow, the whispers at the end!

By the way this reminds me of a clip I watched yday of Hermeto Pascoal on the piano and voice. His stuff is more like 10x faster and higher energy but in this track it has that one-chord exploratory vibe. Maybe you'll enjoy this too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFTJ9-xdudM

Thank you for the encouragement and for listening. For me I think if I start missing too many weeks, I might not make it to the end, even if I’ve already missed two weeks. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you for the kind words, Horatiu! Hope to see you soon somewhere! Actually the reason why I decided to this kind slowed down recorder piece, was that i only had a few hours and last time i did this (new moon) I had it finished very quickly. I am really just doing random stuff vaguely in the key, sometimes i transposed it a fifth or something, not really sure exactly because in Ardour you have to give the length in percentage which takes a bit of “math” to get to usual just intonation fractions, so 50% would be 2:1 in pitch which is confusing, to me at least. Anyways I didn’t think to much while making, i think “composed” is an overstatement. It’s more like it’s generated by the process. I think maybe because of the timbre of the instrument and the slow speed you can get away with many things, and when you slow it down, your “playing” automatically becomes more stable.
