Yes, number 52!!

Started out feeling like the last track should be something really special which of course led to complete writer's block big_smile

Out the window I could see kids playing on a small frozen pond that had formed, so in lack of any better ideas I ran down and spent some time throwing around ice and recording it.

Unfortunately had to cut the recording short as I at one point stepped right through the (shallow) ice and had to go back with soaked feet smile

In the end the track ended up being a rather quiet end to weeklybeats but for now I am just exhausted and happy to be done!!!

Need to come back here to celebrate tomorrow smile

A beautiful ending piece I reckon.  The ice recordings are a great addition and the rhoads like tones meld well.

This is a wonderful track, very original and atmospheric. I've been following your stuff on and off all year and wanted to catch up, since your tracks are so creative. Really evocative piece ... of sun and ice play, not soaked feet, of course smile

Will be nice to keep in touch (Not many WBeaters here in Europe... Soundcloud maybe?)

By the way, "Signails" have been in my playlist for months, helping me through harsh times.

Really astonished by the constant quality of your work. I don't know how you do it smile

Best wishes and happy New Year !!!

I must tell you now: your music is absolutely fantastic!! I have always been looking forward to mondays, just to enjoy
your creative output. I like the wonderful warmth in your mixes. They are sounding so deep and full and analog-vinyl-like.
Sharing the photos made the songs even more unique.
Thank you for your constant effort. Happy New Year!
I will miss the mondays.

Oh man thanks so much, really means a lot to hear it, and it was a huge treat  coming back to the site and seeing a whole bunch of comments from you, made me super happy! Also...made me realise I hadn't really been listening properly to your tracks *embarassed* so am now having an extended listening session through your "catalogue", why did I not pay attention before?? Anyway, not too late to catch up I hope! smile

Would be great to keep in touch! I see you visited Oslo earlier this year, let me know if you're ever in Copenhagen! Found you on Soundcloud for now smile

I am so humbled by this comment, seriously...thanks so much for writing it and thank you also for all the other nice comments you've written over the year!! It has really been a huge help in staying motivated all those weeks. Wish we we could have an actual "after-party" at a physical location, would love to shake your hand! big_smile

Lovely and warm sounding. The ice smashing sounds great.

Soo goood! I love your style, SD! Congrats!

Beautiful, and a very good way to end your WB year. Thanks for a year of amazing music and I hope to hear more of your work, through Soundcloud or other channels. Best wishes for 2015!
