Minimal time means minimal music? Leaving for a trip this week so wanted to find something to post that I could finish given the limited amount of time.

Decided to edit together a rough recording of this droney live jam I did with my friend while in Sweden. We basically had a mixer feeding into Ableton Live and my friend would play random things into it that I would record and process. Kinda cool how you can just set Ableton recording and it will even capture new tracks and effects added after you press record.

Next week will see how composing using only an iPad works...

Beautiful and patient. Very nice.

i think this is a wonderful track fitting excellent to your existing awesome collection of tracks here at wb. Could be a perfect interlude or a "calm down"-track for an album.

and btw. hope you'll have a nice trip and i'm looking forward to your ipad mix. Since i'm planning to do some ipad-only tracks in the upcoming sommer months lying in the park as well, I would imagine this will be exciting (and frustrating as well. Good luck :-)

Not considering how much time you spent on it, I think this was beautiful.
Looking forward to your ipad tracks!

Yes sir.

Great track! Meditative.

Thank you! smile Unfortunately my ipadding was a bit harder than I had hoped, probably my problem is that I was more or less trying to copy the flow I use with a PC, so probably need a different approach. I can totally see it working as a scratchpad that you export audio files from to the PC and then finish it but finishing a complete song on the iPad is still a bit of a challenge to me. Maybe we can exchange tips as summer rolls along wink
