D.R.E.A.M. (Didn't Really Ever Actually Matter)

Well, that's interesting. I seem to have written something synthwave-ish. All user sounds from the MX49 (except the drums, those are builtins), sequenced from E2S. I see a new project on my horizon.

As much as I don't want to use a DAW for this, I might end up having to; I had so many ideas for this track that are just too hard sequence out of the Electribe. I maintain it's a great piece of kit, and I'll probably hold on to it for the time being, but it's not cut out for this kind of stuff I think.

Listening back to this, the high end synth is too far forward in the mix, and/or needs some variation, even just an added flange/phaser or something. Oh well, it's done now.

It definitely has good parts, the lead is quite nice and goes well with the bass.
