This song was built from the phrase "it is what it isn't". I don't know what it means. Probably because it doesn't mean anything, lol. But it turned into a song about daddy issues or something.

I really like how you turned the somewhat meaningless phrase into a really good hook. 
"When I have a son/I hope I can be trusted". God damn - that line is raw and amazing. Always love your lyrics, this one has impact. I'm always impressed by the writing you do week on week, and then layer your awesome harmonies on top. Great work.
