I invited my friend over to collaborate on a song, this is what we came up with.

Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This is a really nice melancholic tune. I liked the lyrical themes, I think they worked really well with the melodies you both were singing.
The interplay between your two voices is great, and I particularly loved how conversational these lyrics are…how the song is an internal conversation but then becomes a face to face dialog (“You’re not listening to me!”) I listened to this one a few times to really catch all the lyrics, there’s layers here. Great collab!
