I agree, it's challenging and some nice collaborations I could have don't work out because of the tight schedule. I'm lucky to have some fellow musicians like Double U and Norbaata Ramirez who can react quickly and record their parts autonomously with their own setup.
When it works out, like here, I love working with others, always brings in new styles and directions that I wouldn't have thought of myself.
