Back to making pieces that aren’t too haphazard! Not much to this one - just wanted to make something tasty and existential. Had some interesting synths I’d thrown together, and after listening to Lorn (Tempered By Your Love specifically), I was inspired to add a few more effects to one of them and ended up with the hulking monstrosity you hear at the end of the piece. Lots of samples in the percussion and synths, including my cat's little noises, recordings from a protest, my electric toothbrush, and miscellaneous drawers and banging noises. Mixing is a little... so-so still. My fault for always saving that for the very very end. Some of the mids are cluttered. That being said, I guess lately it's more been the content than the quality I've focused on? Hope you enjoy it either way!
