wub your missiles - W16

By SQF on April 19, 2026 4:19 pm

m8, of course.

The song starts with a patch called Fallintokey which in used again in the song in a way that reminded me of saturn missile fireworks. A dash of wub wubs and a song is born, or something like that.
Is this an upbeat song with nod to war, maybe?

Anyway, I have some catching up to do on listening and commenting!!
Thanks for stopping by.

I dig the rough textures on the synths.  There's definitely something heavy about the proceedings and it does bring to mind some war-like images and missiles firing.  Oh yeah, the wub wubs are sweet, too.

Oh hail yais! \m/ when the beat kicks in with that gritty bass.  This might be thee most upbeat sinister war song smile   I'm a fan of those fast wibbles in between the wubs too.  yub love that theme!

This is some lofi industrial goodness. Some good bass timbres and a nice crunchy sparkle to the whole thing.

This detuning synth is ridiculously sick! Pink elephants club vibe. The mix of sounds is great, like the distant pad around 1:20 framing the other sounds. Really cool track. Favoring this one.

A couple of years ago I don't think I'd have liked these out of tune instruments... but after a couple of weeklybeats they have really grown on me. Another great track sqf! Keep em coming!

what is it good for? absolutely nothing
these wubs on the other hand... these wubs are good for my soul!
could hear some hard rhymes over this one
have a good week, SQF! or else!

stankface at 0:24 - love that moment. its an absolutely wild track in terms of dissonance that makes me feel uneasy which feels like the point! the whining instrument sounds like people screaming. I dig it, good work

Such a solid beat.
Love how wonky but still.. fun it is!

wub wub wub
