Waiting To Find Out (WB16)

Guitar and vox and that's it for this one! Both recorded through the same vocal mic in the same take big_smile

I was out of town all week so decided to go with a one take wonder for simplicity sake. It took a couple tries to get it in a single take but wow is it so much easier to just record one thing and mix that :-X A couple compressors, limiter, tiny bit of reverb and that's that.

Lyrics:

Unsure again
Of who to call "friend"
Or who's messing with me

It's hard to pretend
But it's easier to understand
What's plain to see

We're acting in our self interest
Sincerity, I can't tell!
With all that's been said in passing
It's not worth waiting to find out

I took out my "mountain goats, get lonely" LP to make sure it reminds me of your talented work. And it does.

Nice one

The more effort you put in one part, the less you have to do in another. It's real nice.

Thats very true. It made everything much more streamlined just being able to do it right from the get go for once ^^'
