Ode to Cat Puke (WB31)

This week's inspiration was given to me by surprise! And anonymously..

Wrote in some Ableton string patterns and some mostly inappropriate percussion patterns for the cannon genre, tossed together 3 vocal takes, edited and copy pasted them until something made sense, threw a bunch of compressors, reverb, delay, saturators and limiters at it and tried to make it sound kinda big. About 2 and a half hours on a Sunday morning after cleaning up cat puke on my desk! ^_^'

Lyrics:

Oh did Luna puke on my desk?
Or did Simon puke on my desk?

Hehe, this is fantastic. A thrilling summer mystery if ever there was one. tongue

The pop-ification of pet cleanup cannon is really going to ruin the genre wink. Love it, this is hilarious and sounds great.

The instrumentation goes hard for such a silly subject.

HAHA! so good!
this is a wonderfully grand and majestic depiction of such a simple/hilarious set of questions big_smile

Feel good hit oof the summe

Hahaha i love the theme and the singing! It's an alternative universe version of the Cluedo game. "Simon did the puking of on the keyboard, with the furball from the pantry". The juxtaposition of the solemnity of the music and the singing and the vocal, and the lyrics is hilarious.

beautiful vocals and very important questions you share with us. thanks.
