Hard Surface (WB24)

Decided to take a little more time this week and play with my sound design.  Spent about 30 minutes editing the instruments, 45 minutes writing patterns, 15 minutes putting the structure together and 30 minutes mixing and fxing. total work time 2 hours.

I realized I had been neglecting the volume of my percussion lately so I decided to put in a simple but consistent drum pattern to switch it up. Also tried to isolate the melody instruments a little better.  And then I relied on the filters to set the momentum of the turnarounds. I think I like where this is going.

Love that rolling bass/drum. Mellow but insistent.

Don't know how you can work so quickly and still get great results.

If you can create a song in 2 hours, does this mean that you have 400 albums that you've released?

This is sitting at a really interesting BPM for your work where it is almost upbeat and almost laid-back at the same time.
