Still ran over a bit on my hour limit.  Those samples just take time to work into anything usable.  ended up at 30 min on sampling and looping. 25 minutes writing drums and accompaniment.  10 min recording and editing the structure.  10 min mixing and side-chaining. 5 min master.  1 hour 20 minutes total.

I could have gotten a better sound out of the samples and mixing i feel like.  i felt pretty constrained for time with what i bit off.  that sampling time really takes the biggest chunk of all and if i already had the material to work with i feel like 1 hour would be just right for the workflow.  perhaps i can find a way to streamline the sampling process.. perhaps thats what i will look into next week.
