My inspiration for this tune was peace and nature.

Today's big thing: I experimented with just recording the guitar ad lib, then making a tempo map following the guitar. Then I used renoise to track the synths on top of it. I like the idea of the computer following me, instead of always automatically making something to fit the grid and click.

I'm fairly happy with the results, although I know what I'll do better next time.

nice harmonies! cool process. free tempo is the way to go

This works!

Absolutely beautiful! Sweet little section at 2:00 too. It enthuses me to hear this was done with tempo mapping, I like the idea of the computer following the music rather than the other way around.

So peaceful~

2:00 mark is unbelievable. What you wrote about computers following rather than leading is extremely relatable also: body does something really interesting in the absence of the grid that I don't quite know how to obtain any other way.
