Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I realized pretty late in the day Saturday that I'm on call for work Sunday, possibly a double, so at the risk of missing out on my song I jammed out a quick one. Recently discovered C700 and the Super Mario World soundfont, gave it a twist of Squarepusher and we're on our way. It's not my favourite but it was fun to make at least! Enjoy

there's a grackle in the birdbath outside my window and when i started playing this they started going wild, splashing water around haha! i think that is approval.

These sorts of tracks always give me a warm nostalgic vibe. I like how it hits some different moods and the last minute or so has a nice ambient feel, which is quite different from the main body of the track and serves as a fitting coda.
