Philosopher's Walk

I got my hands on a Koto VST and had some fun trying to figure out how it works. Enjoy!

Enjoyed this. Subtle but very evocative, too. Nice work!

Full natural sound. You can visualize the strumming and plucking when listening.

Man, each time you've gone for the eastern vibes you absolutely nail it. The sweeping motions on the koto really give this a mysterious, dreamy vibe. What VST was it that you got?

Wow this is amazing, not that I have any ear for Koto's. Are you playing this with keyboard, or programming it? Seriously lol, great job.

Thanks, I appreciate that, I like to think that I was Japanese in a past life. The VST is Sonica's Koto 13 for Kontakt, I got it for some soundtrack work but with what's going on I'm not sure the project is still happening sad

Thanks! I attempted to perform this with keyboard, cut out some bad bits then fix up / reprogram the rest. I always get way too hung up on the tiniest details, I'm trying to get away from that a little bit...

Very nice. Relaxing, sounds good. Like other said, sounds very natural-acoustic. Don't know how disappointed we would be hearing an acoustic recording of that right after, but just listening to that without reference track I could not know it is a vst. Love the reverb and space you put into it as well.

Wow thanks! I will give most of the credit to the VST for the reverb and space though, it's one of the most professional I have ever used.

You've got some good sounds coming out of that.

I'd like to point that it takes a lot of musical skill to get that subtle and emotional sounds from any instruments, and you have those skills. I'm really impressed because it sounds like your hands strummed the strings.

Really delicate piece. Beautiful

Damn man, this is chill but also intricate as hell.  Very impressive.  Btw, I've just been burning through your catalog here while I'm doing stuff and really digging it.  I'm going to have to throw you into my Spotify queue.
