Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

The first thing I always do when I start a track is turn on the metronome, so I decided to try not using a metronome and finding out what happens! Worked out pretty well I think

I think there's something really special to the idea of giving up to the flow every now and again. I'm nowhere near a place where I could do that with music, but it's such a wonderful feeling when it comes together for things like writing and jujitsu.
A bit of a random comment, I know, but just happened to think of that while I was listening to how this track unfolded.
Tempo rubato works wonders, there's a lot of emotion and intent in the delivery! Wonderful compo, superbly played, love those drums too!
