Marking Time

By Sodabelly on May 31, 2020 11:21 pm

I'm not in the worst position during all this madness but it's still impossible not to stress out about the uncertainty of it all. All I can do is make music and keep marking time.

How's everyone else doing?

I like this a lot, man.

I feel you on the quiet stress. All things considered I'm doing pretty good too, but it's weird not having little things like the freedom to travel somewhere new and go for exploratory walks around the city. I sometimes feel a weird stress to do something productive with all this time at home but I also feel that's unfounded. Most days I look at my cat for advice: sleep, eat, play, and take each moment as it comes.

Music making, my husband, video games, my friends, and WB are like the only things going for me right now.

but I'm very lucky to have those things.  And that makes life worth living.

(beautiful piece, by the way!)

I'm doing alright, and this song is making it all better.

Very relaxing piano.

Glad you're all doing well, let's just keep making beats weekly! Thanks for the kind words smile

I feel you, man, indeed.

My work is health related so I've been outside "in the street" all this time. Here in Spain now it's considered "return to normal" and things are relaxing in both good and bad ways. My company is "between public contracts" and everything is sort of suspended because of COVID.

I've been doing fine, really, but it's sometimes quite strange to deal with. When I'm finally offduty and return home to me it's my mum, my cats, my best friend, music and computers. Missing some social contact beyond work, though the WB community is kind of a "strangers family" of people I've never met.

Gorgeous short piece, as usual. And thank you for the quality of your music. You've been an inspiration all these WB years.

Thanks, that means alot! I feel like a known you for a long time haha (since 2014?), I always appreciate your comments and enjoy your music (even if I don't always comment on it, sorry!). Hang in there and sooner or later we'll all have our social circles back again.
