Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Made some cinematic chiptune this week. It was a long week of work but I managed to squeeze a track in using NES Pulse and Famisynth. Enjoy!

Ah that's a nice chiptune. I especially like the waltz-like feel that I got from the bass. Very well done - I love the idea of this chiptune constraint, whith a limited palette of sounds, yet being able to build nice melodies that tap directly into the memories of playing video games as a kid.
I like how it goes to minor around 1:25 before resolving back to major.
While it has the familiar nostalgic sounds, I feel like this goes beyond video game music and sounds quite pretty and epic.
