Aluminum

Another collaboration in the works with my pal Sean Gadoury. I laid down the piano, some strings and atmosphere stuff and he contributed the guitar and synth trumpets. I then threw some church organ on top to fill in the bass frequencies because it was sounding a little thin. This is a really rough mixdown but I think it's coming along nicely. Enjoy! smile

This has a really nice buildup and does a great job of conveying the feeling of vast open space.

Damn, your rough is very polished compared to my polished... Aluminum is light. Aluminum is strong. Aluminum doesn't rust. Long live Aluminum.

Very relaxing track. Well done.

Epic. I aspire t do something like this. Subdued  with all good placements and decisions.  Very well crafted, big sound.

So serene and soothing, you guys did great! heart

Fantastic atmosphere. The soundtrack of a genesis.

Thanks everyone! Appreciate the comments smile

Really beautiful piece. I'm always amazed your "rough sketches" are basically polished tracks for the rest of us mortals. Excellent work, as asual.

Any secret reason behind the title? Aliminium... this sounds gold smile

Now a scientific use of said metal:

Hahaha Thanks! That's very nice of you, it's a rough mix but the rest of it took us a long time smile

No reason for the Aluminum title, I was probably drinking a can of coke while I was saving the file!
