More Noise (multichip)

By Snyderman on April 26, 2026 9:07 pm

Exploring some more sounds with the various chips' noise channels, pretty much the same as last time but switching out the Game Gear instead of the SMS for very slight improvements. Took a while to figure out what I was going for until the bassline started to tie things together into some kind of blues-y track.

Noise channels used
- Game Gear
- Neo Geo Pocket (pretty similar to SMS above)
- Game Boy
- C64 (8580 variant, only using noise waveform kick)
- NES
- Wonderswan
- VIC-20
- Virtual Boy

The bassline works great.  It's the higher frequencies where these chips sounds fall apart a bit.

Slick

Digging the gritty, funky vibes. big_smile
