The samba flavor gives it a fun and playful vibe.  Some of the chords somehow feel like they have a bit of a melancholy coloration to me, so I don't get full-on sugar rush happy feels.  But it does sound like a good time, maybe just one with a little bit on its mind.

Thank you, what a high compliment! I've been a Sadboy(TM) as long as I can remember, but a change of pace is nice. The big dramatic bend toward this end is a slow pitch rise on my guitar recording. Any other bends might just be me pressing too hard on the strings

The "ride" is a sample of some metal candleholders banging together. And the marimba is FM in additive (Algo 0B) mode with a Sine op, a Noise op, and two Triangle ops.
