Breaking into the Vault of Heaven

By sleepside on June 28, 2026 11:34 pm

I dunno what to call this, genre-wise. It's 140 bpm and four-on-the-floor. It's vaguely chippy and vaguely trance-y and has motor-engine bass hits

I made it on my Dirtywave M8. All synths (wavsynth saw arps/lead, macrosynth kick with high redux, FM bass, wavsynth noise hats, and hypersynth trance chords)

(Catching up on last week's songs too. Should be adding new comments early this week)

Oof coming in hot with the arps.

This has got some not quite boss battle, but maybe the manic moving wall maze before the final boss vibes.

Cool trance gate sounds as well.

It launches you into orbit right away.  I agree it's some sort of video game dance music.  After all the arps (which were awesome) I liked that moment where it changed up and we got a little bit of relatively sustained high-pitched synth wails.

Gritty and grimey arp-ridden angry revving engines! That bass does its best to wake up the whole neighborhood, lucklily those arps are here maintain a sense of harmonic cohesion. Nice and chunky crushed drums, loving the moment they get to shine in the break before the chippy solo. Party time!

Great development in this one―the arp language is great throughout, but I feel like the real orbital dropkicking starts at 1:01.  The articulation on that lead right before everything kicks back off is incredible!  (1:19 = chefs kiss vocal-ish.)

the arps are just FIRE and the kick is BANGING
