Pastel Skies

Yet another sweet swingy beats from the almighty Yamaha RS7000.

It all started from the arpeggio that you'll hear throughout the track. There are different parts in this song, and I was very happy how those "latin beats" came out.

Each track was recorded from RS7000 one by one to Reaper (don't have the luxury of AIEB2 output board), but it gave some freedom to reorganize the song structure.

The structure itself was done in about five hour period on Sunday (it was somehow obvious and pure like pastel skies), but the mixing and mastering took me several days. Not still sure about the dynamics, but at some point (5hrs before deadline), you have to let it be.

121 bpm in a spirit of Vince Watson, who I admire a lot.

Kudos for dropping a word or two. I could see this as Sounds Of Sakari release on Bancamp some day.

Loving the sound selection on this one!

yeah everything is tickling my brain here. the bubbly resonance on the arps, the buzzy ringmod on the bass in the 1:05 section, the hipassed plastic piano.. real nice mixing too.

really nice, got lost in the sauce.

So many great layers, excellent mix. Killer

Ooh, you brought a good collection of sounds here, love that sweet piano
