This is really cool, I love how, despite the time signatures and such, it still sounds really - for lack of a better word - natural. Awesome job on this, fav'd!

I encourage you to try the 5/4 beat out - it is remarkably versatile! I learned it from a youtube video "5/4 Drum Beats - Advanced Drum Lessons"

The drums have some effects. Tuned up 8 cents with the medium range boosted above the lows and highs, then layered over itself.

Thanks! Purvi Thaat is cool because, in C, it has the C E G tonic dominant thing going for it, plus the C# and F#/G# are perfect intervals from each other so the scale sounds strong despite the string of semitones in the middle

5/4 is one of my favorite time signatures. this track was a lot of fun and i love it when you can find out ways to shift the hihats and do seamless transitions. downloaded!

Very cleverly constructed.  Nothing worse than when people try to compose in odd signatures and it sounds forced.  I'd love to hear it with a different sound set, that would be very cool.  The fm sounding bell tones at the end are sweet.
