HeyLookDaHappyDooDoo

By A Thorny Succulent on March 18, 2016 11:08 pm

This song was a pretty cool experiment for me since it involved actual mixing instead of the usual compression madness O_o. As a result I avoided some of the volume issues I often run into, woohoo! Took a bit longer, probably around 6 hours or so total (did it in a day over a couple sittings), but it was definitely worth it since I need the practice!

Oh yeah and the entire song is built off of the melodies in the first 30 seconds (I basically just repeated what's in the first 30 seconds but stretched it out over the rest of the song and added stuff).

Written in 7/8, 166 bpm.
