black gold baby

Ladies, gentlemen and everything in between: I will now bludgeon a metaphor to death before your very eyes smile

Similarly to last week, the OP-1s (I tend to call them OP-1 and OP-2 wink ) are receiving Stockholm radio channels...the metallic rhythms that come in on the second verse are the result of that on the drums, on the bass it's pretty clear when the signal starts modulating the CWO effect... I finally found a way to get vox into the modular (just cable/connector issues, but it was tricky), they're going through first the Plague Bearer then the verb on the QU-Bit RT60, pretty basic...but it was a challenge finding a nice mix of filtered all-to-hell and intelligible speech.... plus a Juno-1 pad to make sure you are all permanently depressed. You're welcome! big_smile

Very industrial, it's so gritty!

Old goth feel to this like a Bauhaus vibe. Those samples awesome. Love the super rhythmic hits and distorted vocals. Outstanding! Big 80s club hit sound.

Going to echo NWSPR with the Bauhaus vibes, this is excellent!! I love how everything is super defined in terms of distance in the mix, those drums really shine!

Very powerful! The roughness really makes it impactful

Love the percussion in this track, man.

Those samples are great! They gel perfectly with the minimalist industrial vibe. I like the percussion too. Almost has an old-school blues feel in a weird way.

Cool track.

Very cool and dank industrial track.

love the drums in this and the mega washed out vocal - all the drum machiney hits remind me of ministry. feel like this just needed a big saturated sub underneath just to fill it out just a little more. everything on top sounds great, especially that crazy lead that comes in halfway
