Just picked up one little black friday thing this year. a solo cello from Spitfire. Definitely feeling out of my comfort zone writing stuff like this but heres a little test of its abilites. Usually any strings I use will be somewhat buried in the mix, so this feels rather exposed by comparison. Using a few instances of the cello with an extra layer of strings at the end.

That's beautiful, very introspective. Nice composition.
incredible good...love this sound
In my honest opinion, it's good. Lovely even.
This sounds really, nice. Would love to hear more with this at some point, though I guess there's not a lot of time in terms of WB, huh?

Thanks so much friends! Much appreciated.
Nice man, I actually bought a solo cello library from Cinesamples for half off last week too. This sounds great, love all the different voices at the ending. The portomento on this is legit too.
Thanks man! Ohh nice, haven't really checked out Cinesamples stuff before, I'll have to have a look. Yeahh Ive never play a string library with portomento like that before, SUPER satisfying.

Thanks! Yeah it would definitely have made some more appearances if I got it earlier in the year, but we'll see!
