Rainy Days

This week, I've unlocked a new skill: Creating multisample, velocity-layered synths on the Deluge. So, I finally built myself a virtual Rhodes, because I just love the sound. And the result is pretty solid, I think! (It's made from the samples by Icoustik on the Deluge forums.

Of course I then also had to use it! smile

The song starts of rather chill. This week, the weather mostly sucked. A lot of rain and thunderstorms, with few opportunities to take a walk and actually enjoy it. The song tries to reflect this.

Deluge-only again. At some point, I'm gonna have my Ableton Push and Live set up again, but this week is not the week. It doesn't sound half bad though, I think. The mix is mellow and I kinda like it. In the end, I had written myself in a corner and decided to just end the track there, but whatever.

Feel free to ask questions or give feedback. I'm here to learn, and that includes constructive criticism.

Very chill »sitting in by the window on a rainy sunday afternoon« vibe. Well done, I like it!
