Who would've known? I can do decent length tracks!

Another Deluge-only track started and finished on Sunday. I like the amount of different melodies and instrumentation in this one. In fact, I think from all the songs I've made so far this year, I like this one the most. The drum mix is maybe a bit off, but I dunno, it still works if you ask me.

The title Move On is about the feeling of wanting to remain at a place or in a situation that's very dear to your heart and that you have tons and tons of nostalgic emotions about, but ultimately hurts you more than it's making you happy. When you've spent a decade there it can be unbelievably hard to let go. You're trying to make it work, telling yourself "just one more attempt" each time, afraid of what you're going to lose when you leave.

Don't demolish yourself. Know when to stop.

Move On.
