I set out to make a track about the cold weather outside and accidentally ended up making it about climate change. If you like, let me know how it makes you feel or how you interpret it. Could be interesting.

Again a Deluge-only track, although I think I've used a few M8 samples.

I've initially planned to prepare clips and then actually perform the track live, but ran out of time to rehearse, prepare MIDI mappings etc., so I ended up manually putting it together in the arranger view. Not exactly perfectly happy with the arrangement, it feels too rushed, but whatever. Also, automation view in the Deluge community firmware really is a godsend, it makes fine-tuning parameter changes so much easier.

I find myself increasingly limited by the Deluge's builtin effects, so I guess I'll export stems next and mangle them in … Ableton? The M8? Something else? We'll see.

Feel free to ask questions or give feedback. I'm here to learn, and that includes constructive criticism.

Spooky arpeggios, nice! I think I can get some climate change vibes - for me there were feelings of anticipation and tension, which is not unlike how I feel about the future planet >.> To me it didn't feel rushed at all.

great sounds here, really liked the "wave crashing" white noise

Suitably bleak and chilly

Thanks everyone! Fun fact, @orangedrink: That's not quite white noise; it's a sample of the Dynjandi waterfalls in Iceland. But I could've probably just used simple white noise wink
