Another generative piece. Just sorta wanders. Maybe it's a dark cave. Maybe it's a spooky forest. Either way, it's a slow and plodding walk, wary but curious.

It lacks direction, which I guess is sort of the point.

My setup for generation varies, but the basics are that I have a single midi note on a piano roll, looped however long, and then messed about with using Ableton midi tools (arp, random, velocity, maybe more random, scale, etc), tuned to something that sounds nice.

Yeah, it was getting more direction initially, but then I felt like I was starting to make something rather than just tuning the generation.

Huge dark cavernous atmosphere!  I think the direction is intriguing and love the sound of the synth.  This would be great in a sci-fi-alien-mystery smile
