Some Trash For You All

By scottux on February 9, 2020 10:18 pm

In the saga of building out my music desk battlestation thing, I've set up guitar nonsense now and spent a ton of time just playing guitar and not recording a damn thing. What ultimately got tracked was this kinda trash unce unce using a built in Ableton house loop for the drums. It's not much, but it's a weekly beat and that's fine with me.

I'm like a raccoon I love trash, especially if it sounds like this. Another week down!

I did not expect this track to go where it did. Guitar house? I like it.

more electro melodies like this please

Ahhh man, "rebuilding the studio"... you fell into the rabbithole! (I'm still "rearranging my pedals").

I'd call this "ambient trash".. was expecting some Slayer but the distant guitar riff works pretty well, and the house loop is quite catchy. Not "trashy" at all, in that sense.

Good effort, man!

Love the sound of the guitar and was surprised when it turned into more of an electro track.  Awesome sidechaining and that bassline has an addictive sound to it.  Had me nodding along fo sho!

y'know, me neither? I was making this and just threw a house beat down for laughs and ultimately didn't hate it

Yeah the thing I think I'm most proud of here is the way the bassline reharmonizes the simple lead line
